CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The 2026 LACE conference will highlight aligning the career ecosystem. We are seeking presentation proposals for 45-minute breakout sessions that highlight relevant topics, innovative initiatives or partnerships, and best practices. Proposals from employers or collaborations between career services and employer partners will receive special consideration. Handshake Academy
Wednesday, July 15, 2026
Location: LSU, Baton Rouge, LA
Limited Spots Available for the Handshake Academy – This is a separate event and registration, but you can reserve your hotel room with the Cook Hotel at the LACE Conference rate.
Join us for a free, in person Meetup hosted by Louisiana State University and Handshake on July 15 from 9:00am - 3:00pm CDT. Meetups are interactive, multi-school gatherings for career services professionals in the region. You’ll share best practices, network, and get training on the latest Handshake features and updates (plus, lunch is provided)!
Interested in attending?
Note that space is limited, with room for 1–2 attendees per school. Please coordinate with your colleagues, then register to officially secure your spot. Don't forget to fill out the survey form to share your preferences for training topics and day-of event details!
